1st Official Session of Global Youth Network Program
The 1st official session of Global Youth Network Program of Good Neighbors was held with teams from Korea, Vietnam, Mongol, and Kenya.

The first official session was held with the teams from Korea (as a whole, including Hidden Figures), Vietnam, Mongol, and Kenya. Our Korea’s team consists of 15 people from 4 different schools and the name was decided as Golden Time, representing the urgency to take action with the global issue, climate change. From the team, a team representative/leader was needed and Alyssa Han, the founder of Hidden Figures was chosen. As a representative of the Korea’s Team, Alyssa has shared the progress that the team was taking for the past few weeks (creating card news letters, surveys, and the usage of survey results). With the card news letters, they were sent to 1000 people regarding the actions that were taken from Stages 1-4 (there were different groups of people every year taking this experience of Global Network). Based on those card news letters, people (who have participated in these activities before) were asked for to fill out a check-in survey of whether there are still the remembrance of the UN SDGs, the continuance of climate actions, tips of the maintenance, and what is needed as an individual, school, community, country, and worldwide. With the survey results, Alyssa discussed about the implementations of how the survey results would be used; they were divided as an individual, community, and government as well. After introducing and presenting about Korea’s team progress, other teams’ progression were shown. Listening to different activities from different countries showed the diversity and creativity that each team had and also provided some inspiration of how we, Korea’s team can go further with taking action in climate change and crisis.
