Food Waste is one of the biggest environmental challenges and issues that still hasn’t been solved.

During March of 2025, South Korea was filled with devastating wildfires that brought a chaotic and tragic situation to a lot of people, everyone, meaning that there needed to be an immediate humanitarian aid.

Alyssa was able to participate in a competition called the International Genetically Engineered Machine (IGEM), a competition that challenges students to solve real-world problems using synthetic biology.

In December of 2023, Alyssa was able to participate in a youth-oriented competition run by HOBY (Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Foundation), an organization that focuses on nurturing a worldwide community of young individuals and volunteers in leadership, service, and innovation.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, news and stories of challenges and losses faced by hospitals, healthcare workers, and families were filled all over news reports and social media; for many of them were distant and heartbreaking.

Philippines Service Learning (PSL) Club is a student-led organization that strives to support the basic educational and nutritional needs of students in the Philippines.

World Food Forum (WFF) is a global event that addresses global issues of food and transforms agrifood systems. The title of our presentation was, "No Food Left Behind: Youth-Driven Strategies for Resolving Food Insecurity & Combating Food Waste."

Seoul Climate Reality Leadership Training, held at Kintex, Ilsan, is a two-day offline training session (August 19-20) that brings youths, educators, business leaders, government workers, and experts together to discuss, learn, and explore how South Korea can be a global leader in the topic of climate.

International Youth Day 2022 Conference, held on August 12, is a 3-day conference that consists of 3 different sessions: Youth Peace, Youth SDGs, and Youth Business.

Hidden Figures has participated in a campaign celebrating the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers on May 29th.

World Human Rights Cities Forum is a forum where different professionals come together to discuss about human rights and discrimination, encouraging a brighter, better future.

Alyssa Han, the leader of Hidden Figures has been the host in the Chadwick International Service Assembly and has also presented news about actions taken by the leaders.

In Trimester 1, the leaders and members of the Hidden Figures have taken action by writing personal letters for children living in poverty who are in need of encouragement and support.

The Promise Movement has happened with numerous famous activists in the United Nations.

Human Rights & Peace of Myanmar helped me learn more about what is currently happening in Myanmar and human rights.
