Children International Organization
In Trimester 1, the leaders and members of the Hidden Figures have taken action by writing personal letters for children living in poverty who are in need of encouragement and support.
By writing a letter to a child, you can let them know someone does care and is wishing them well. This can be incredibly motivating as they work for a brighter, more hopeful future at the end of the day. The organization that we are willing to be donating to is called, “Child International.” This non-profit organization has been recognized as a top-rated charity and named one of the top humanitarian organizations.
The prompt of the letter mainly focused on support statements based on:
- stay in school
- work hard
- give back to their community
- believe in themself
- hold on to their dreams
- never give up hope
This was a captivating experience for everyone including the members and the leaders of Hidden Figures. We spent a lot of time putting in our full effort for inspiration and motivation. The leaders will soon be sending this to the organization safely.
