Beautiful Store Donation (아름다운 가게)

Beautiful Store aims to contribute to ecological and eco-friendly changes in our society through the reuse and circulation of goods, support the underprivileged at home and abroad and public interest activities, and contribute to the growth of citizenship and the development of grassroots communities. The vision focuses on three: public interest, efficiency, and professionalism. Public Interest is "as a non-profit corporation, we protect purity, value orientation, and public interest." Efficiency is "pursuing efficiency in producing value for the public good." Lastly, professionalism is aiming to achieve world-class levels of public interest and professionalism. In addition, for the logo, the shape of the leaves gathered to become a flower is the five practices (donation, revival, ethical consumption, volunteering, and sharing) to think of us before me and protect the environment. Mild green, the color of the beautiful store, symbolizes life, environment, future, and hope.

For movement philosophy, it is also split up into three: a net spirit, revival spirit, and engagement and change. A net spirit is, "We see the truth of the world through the eyes of 'relationship'. We are all
responsible for each other's lives, like a web that is tightly intertwined with weft and warp yarns." A revival spirit is "We extend the life of the world through sharing and circulation. We practice sharing and circulation to heal the pain caused by excessive consumption and selfishness." Engagement and change are "Your participation make a beautiful change in the world. We believe that one donation, one hour of volunteering can change the world beautifully." Furthermore, they provide campaigns, "Action to Green", donation, "donate goods", and "regular sponsorship", etc. In addition, they focus on three categories, resource recycling, participatory culture, and domestic/overseas support.

Thinking about all of these actions that Beautiful Store is trying to focus on caused me to have this donation. I have endowed books, clothes, and shoes. I hope that it could really support people so that they could live in a better community or society. Not many donations have been made with Hidden Figures, for now, however, we would like to keep going and help different kinds of people from all over the world to raise awareness. This can build up a progression that could lead to a better result not only to the people who are in need, but also us, Hidden Figures.
