World Health Day
World Health Day is a global health awareness day that was established by the WHO (World Health Organization) on April 7th, 1948.

This day draws attention to global health issues, promotes and spreads awareness, and encourages actions towards improving health worldwide as well as achieving the UN SDGs (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals). Since World Health Day focuses on global health issues, it provides communities worldwide a better knowledge and understanding about health-related topics. Each year, World Health Day focuses on a specific theme related to global health topics that address pressing health concerns and calls for action. Some examples of the themes are mental health, child care, climate change, road safety, infections, blood pressure, etc. In 2023, it is the 75th anniversary of World Health Day. The theme is “Health For All.”
